In the area of M&A transactions, Ms. Meng has extensively represented multinational corporations, sovereign fund and international private equity firms, as well as large Chinese enterprises, including both SOEs and non-SOEs, for their M&A transactions and PE investments. Ms. Meng’s recent experience includes advising: Temasek in its setting up a joint venture wealth management company together with BlackRock and CCB Wealth Management; Bain Capital in its acquisitions of APMG hospital group, CHC hospital group and other onshore hospitals as well as in its bidding for acquisition of the China NVC-lighting business; Warburg Pincus in its investment in Gaush Meditech; State Power Investment Corporation in its sales of various electricity power assets to China Power (2380.HK); Macquarie in its various acquisitions in infrastructure areas; Unigroup Guoxin in its acquisition of an DRAM/RAM developer Xi’an Huaxin, etc. Ms. Meng also represented many sovereign fund, PE firms and institutions for their numerous investments in areas of TMT, pharmaceutical, medical institutions, fiancé, logistics, hi-tech and manufacturing etc. in China, including without limitation Temasek, Warburg Pincus, Hillhouse Capital, China Mobile Capital, Alibaba, Highlight Capital, China Life etc.
In the area of capital markets transactions, Ms. Meng's representative transactions include the H-share IPO of China Huarong, the IPO of Greentown Management in HKEx; the private placement of H shares of Huaneng Renewables, the private placement of H shares of Ping'an Insurance, the rights issue of China Everbright and the A-share IPO of ASDC (on-going), etc.
In the area of general corporate, Ms. Meng has advised Temasek and China Mobile Capita etc. in connection with matters of PRC laws.
Ms. Meng received her LL.B. degree and her Master of Laws degree from the Xiamen University and Peking University in 2012 and 2014 respectively.
Ms. Meng's native language is Mandarin, and she speaks English fluently.
