Ms. Lu is a counsel in our Shanghai office. Ms. Lu’s practice focuses on M&A, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Lu joined Haiwen in 2022. Before joining Haiwen, she practiced with King & Wood (2018-2021) and JunHe (2015-2018).

M&A:

● Represented Trustar Capital in entering into an equity transaction agreement with Alibaba Group Holding Limited for the acquisition of Lingxi Games

● Represented Trustar Capital in the acquisition of 100% interests in the cultural tourism assets of "Henan Central" and " Movie Town" from Central China Real Estate (an HKSE listed company)

● Represented Trustar Capital as a consortium member in the going-private acquisition of Energy Monster (a Nasdaq listed company), a leading consumer tech company providing mobile device charging services in China

● Represented Trustar Capital in the sale of Erno Laszlo, a high-end skincare brand originating from New York

● Represented Trustar Capital in the sale of Trustlink, a leading zero-carbon IMF service provider in China

● Represented Trustar Capital and Ares Management, together with PAG, ADIA and Mubadala, in their equity investment in Newland (the holding company of Zhuhai Wanda Commercial Management Group and the world's largest shopping mall management company), and represented Trustar Capital in its subsequent equity investments in Newland

● Represented Trustar Capital in the acquisition of Guilong Pharmaceutical, a leading throat health company in China

● Represented Trustar Capital in the sale of LifeStyles Healthcare, a global sexual health and wellness platform

● Represented Grab (a Singapore-based super app) in the acquisition of Infermove, a China-founded robotics company focused on autonomous delivery systems

● Represented FTC Solar (a Nasdaq listed company) in the acquisition of a leading solar tracker system supplier in China

● Represented CIMC Wetrans in the acquisition of Defin Group, a renowned freight forwarding group in China and South America

● Advised LG Chem on the sale of its LCD polarizer business in China and South Korea to Shanshan (a listed company in China)

● Advised the consortium comprising Ocean Link and Sequoia Capital China on the going-private acquisition of New Century Hotel (an HKSE listed company)

● Advised Qianjiang Motor for the establishment of a joint venture with VRM, an Italian auto parts supplier

● Advised Baozun on the acquisition of Yishang Network, a leading fashion brand e-commerce solution provider in China

 Private Equity:

● Advised private equity and other institutional clients, such as Trustar Capital, Oriza Holdings, Novo Holdings and Deyi Capital, in a wide range of investment transactions in the fields of chips, new energy, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, etc.

Ms. Lu received her bachelor's degree in law and master's degree in law from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2012 and 2015 respectively. In 2014, Ms. Lu received her LL.M. degree from the exchange program at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
