Ms. Xiao is a partner based in the Beijing office.  Ms Xiao's practice focuses on securities, M&A and private equity investments.

Prior to joining Haiwen in April 2011, Ms Xiao worked at Jingtian & Gongcheng for about 3 years.

In the area of domestic capital markets, Ms. Xiao's experience in securities issuance includes advising issuers or underwriters in: the listing of BMC Medical on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the listing of Anlogic Infotech on the SSE STAR Market, the listing of CICC on the Main Board of the SSE, the listing of Postal Savings Bank of China on the Main Board of the SSE, the listing of Bank of Xi'an on the Main Board of the SSE, the listing of Yusys Technologies on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the listing of Beingmate on the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and the listing of PetroChina on the Main Board of the SSE.

In the area of offshore capital markets, Ms. Xiao's experience in securities issuance includes advising issuers or underwriters in: the H share IPO of China CDF, the H share IPO of Bank of Jiujiang, the H share IPO of Postal Savings Bank of China, the H share IPO of CICC, the H share IPO of Bank of Qingdao, the H share IPO of Bank of Jinzhou, the H share IPO of Bank of Chongqing, the listing of Sany Heavy Equipment on HKEx with a red-chip model，the listing of Dah Chong Hong on HKEx, the listing of Rise Education on NASDAQ, the private placement of H shares of Fuyao Group in 2021, the private placement of offshore preferred shares of Postal Savings Bank of China in 2017, the follow-on offering of Rise Education，the issuance of offshore USD bonds of Taikang Group in 2016, and the issuance of shares and CB by EC-Founder to its controlling shareholder to buy the onshore real estate businesses, etc.

In the area of M&A and private investment transactions, Ms. Xiao's recent experience includes advising: China Development Bank Capital in connection with its sale of certain equity of China New Town, Doing Now in connection with its acquisition of Cinderella Beijing and Aishang Taekwondo, SDIC Gaoxin in connection with its equity diversification reform, China Guangfa Bank in its share capital increase in 2018, Taikang Life Insurance for its strategic investment in China Merchants Highway, Qatar Airways in increasing its stake in China Southern Airlines by 5%, the financial advisor in connection with the restructuring of China COSCO and China COSCO Shipping, the financial advisor in connection with the merger of CNR and CSR, Sinopec Marketing Co., Ltd. In connection with its private placement of RMB 100 billion in shares, Changyou.com in connection with its acquisition of the 7Road. Ms. Xiao is a member of a council of China Business Law Society, and has participated in writing Research on Difficult Problems in New Types of Corporate Litigation

Ms. Xiao received her LL.B. degree and B.S. in Economics (Dual Degree) in 2006 and her Master of Laws degree in 2008 from Peking University.

Ms. Xiao's native language is Mandarin, and he speaks English fluently.
