Shen Qin is a counsel of Haiwen. Ms. Shen’s practice focuses on Bankruptcy & Reorganization, Distressed Assets & NPL and Dispute Resolution.

1. Projects as the bankruptcy administrator or legal counsel of the debtors:

● Participated as a member of the interim administrator in the pre-reorganization procedure of Beijing Tianyishangjia High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd. (688033.SH).

● Participated as a member of the reorganization administrator in the reorganization procedure of Beijing Med-Zenith Medical Scientific Corporation Limited.

● Participated as a member of the interim administrator in the pre-reorganization procedure of Jiayu Holding Co., Ltd. (300117.SZ).

● Participated as a member of the interim administrator and the reorganization administrator in the pre-reorganization procedure of China Aviation Erection Engineering (Beijing) Company Ltd. and China Aviation Gas Turbine. Ltd. and in the substantive consolidated bankruptcy reorganization procedure (the first pre-reorganization case in Beijing, one of the Top 10 representative cases of the Supreme People’s Court).

● Participated as the instructing counsel of Jiangsu Chengxing Phosph-Chemical Co., Ltd. (600078.SH) in its pre-settlement procedure and as the legal counsel in its bankruptcy settlement procedure (the first domestic listed company settlement case that has been successfully completed during the listing of the company's shares).

● Participated as a member of the administrator in the bankruptcy liquidation cases of Poly Mining Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Huijia Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Beijing Xinwei Technology Group Co., Ltd., Beijing China Travel Service Co., Ltd., Jiayu Xinxin Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shimao Automobile Sales and Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yunjiang Real Estate Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jiumao Foreign Trade Co., Ltd., Miyako Screen Textile Manufacturers (SHANGHAI) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Dr. Guang Medical Beauty Hospital Co., Ltd., etc.

● Participated as a member of the liquidation group in the compulsory liquidation cases of Beijing Saidi Shengshi Advertising Co., Ltd., Beijing Anbote Trading Co., Ltd., Beijing Hualun Paper Co., Ltd., Beijing Haidian Jinghang Electronic New Technology Development Company, etc.

● Participated as a member of the administrator in the personal bankruptcy reorganization cases of Chen Xia, Liu Hongmei, Chen Yina, Wen Liuting, Liang Shaokun, etc.

● Participated as the legal counsel of the financial advisor in the procedurally consolidated bankruptcy reorganization case of Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (000410.SZ) and its holding group.

● Participated as the legal counsel of the financial advisor in the procedurally consolidated bankruptcy reorganization case of Tonghua Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies.

● Assisted the client as the intended investor in the substantive consolidated bankruptcy reorganization case of Founder Group Co., Ltd. and its 4 other affiliated companies.

● Assisted the client as the intended investor in the substantive consolidated bankruptcy reorganization case of Tsinghua Unigroup Co., Ltd. and its 6 other affiliated companies.

● Assisted the client as the intended investor in the substantive consolidated bankruptcy reorganization case of Anhui Wenda Electronics Co., Ltd. and its 18 other affiliated entities.

● Assisted the client as the intended investor in the bankruptcy reorganization case of Xining Special Steel Co., Ltd. (600117.SH).

● Assisted the client as the intended investor in the pre-reorganization case of ChangJiang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (300391.SZ).

● Assisted the client as the shareholder and creditor in advancing the bankruptcy liquidation and other matters of Shanghai Jingmao Culture Communication Co., Ltd.

● Represented a bank in declaring creditor rights in multiple bankruptcy proceedings of HNA Group.

In the area of Distressed Assets & NPL, Ms. Shen's representative projects include:

● Assisted the client in acquisition and restructuring of non-performing creditor's rights of Oceanwide Holdings Group.

● Assisted the client in the debt restructuring of Lingshui Zhongyin Development Co., Ltd.

● Assisted China Huarong Asset Management Co., Ltd., in the project regarding the exercise of put option and the resale of the Xinhualian bond and the related debt restructuring (the first representative case of such kind in the bond market).

● Assisted the client in participating in the judicial auction of Junkang Financial Plaza with other investors.

In the area of Dispute Resolution, Ms. Shen's representative cases include:

● Represented multiple bankrupt enterprises in filing lawsuits for recovering unpaid capital contributions from shareholders.

● Represented multiple bankrupt enterprises in filing lawsuits for compensation for damages to the debtor's interests.

● Represented multiple bankrupt enterprises in several creditor rights confirmation litigations.

● Represented a bankrupt enterprise in multiple litigations relating to equity transfer disputes.

● Represented a bankrupt enterprise in multiple litigations relating to housing sales contract disputes.

Ms. Shen is admitted to practice in the PRC.

Ms. Shen received her LLB degree from East China University of Political Science and Law and her Master's degree in International Business Law from University College London in 2016 and 2018, respectively. 

Ms. Shen’s native language is Mandarin, and she is fluent in English.
