Ms. Li is a Counsel with Haiwen & Partners.  Ms. Li's practice focuses on tax and general corporate. 

Ms. Li joined Haiwen in 2012.  Before joining Haiwen, she worked as a M&A tax consultant in the Beijing office of an international accounting firm for 3 years. 

Benefiting from her enriched experience in the tax law and corporate practices, Ms. Li is familiar with clients'legal concerns and problem-solving approaches, and is good at providing legal analysis, responses and solutions tailored to resolve the issues.

Tax

Ms. Li mainly engages in general tax consulting, tax audit support and tax dispute resolution, tax structuring and review, preparation and review of tax-related contracts and tax compliance trainings.  Ms. Li has provided tax legal consulting services to many domestic and foreign clients in different industries and has provided tax compliance analysis and strategy support to clients in many tax dispute projects.

Ms. Li's tax consulting practices cover a wide range of areas, including general corporate matters, ESOP arrangements, M&A and restructuring, asset related transactions, equity related transactions, bonds/shares investment, fund investment, tax treaty related issues and tax reporting and filing issues in relation to the Announcement No.7 and etc.

Ms. Li's tax-related consulting services cover a wide range of industries, including fund investment, real estate, mining, energy, manufacturing and etc.

Haiwen's tax team has won many honors awarded by the “China Business Law Journal”, “The Legal 500 (Asia Pacific List)”, “Legal Band” and etc.

General Corporate

Ms. Li advises many clients on daily operational issues, including legal compliance, corporate set-up, regulatory concerns, ESOP arrangements and other general corporate advisory areas.  Her services cover a wide range of industries, including entertainment, home appliances, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, investments and etc. 

Ms. Li received her L.L.M. degree from University College London in 2007 and received her LL.B. degree from Capital University of Economics and Business in 2006.

Ms. Li is registered in the talent pool of foreign-related lawyers of Beijing Lawyers Association. 

Ms. Li's native language is Mandarin, and she speaks English fluently.
