Haiwen & Partners is pleased to welcome two partners, Hallam Chow and Boya Shen, to join Haiwen's Beijing and Hong Kong offices.

Hallam and Boya’s main practice areas are banking and finance, acquisition finance, projects and project finance, and energy and infrastructure.  They have serviced PRC and international financial institutions and PRC project developer clients in numerous award winning transactions supporting outbound mergers and acquisitions, green finance, clean energy and other major infrastructure projects in "One Belt One Road" countries.
Prior to joining Haiwen, Hallam and Boya have worked together with international law firms in their international and Asia offices.
Hallam has been ranked for many years as "Leading Individual" (Projects and Infrastructure) by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia Pacific, "Highly Regarded" (Banking, Project Development, Project Finance, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Energy and Infrastructure) by IFLR1000 as well as "Hall of Fame" and "Leading Individual" in Projects and Energy by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
Boya has been recognized as "Rising Star Partner" in Banking, Project Development and Project Finance by IFLR1000, "Next Generation Partner" in Banking & Finance, and Projects and Energy by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific as well as "China Top 15 Rising Lawyers" by Asian Legal Business.

Hallam is fluent in Mandarin, English, French and Cantonese and proficient in Shanghainese.  Boya's native language is Mandarin and he is fluent in English.

The addition of Hallam Chow and Boya Shen will further enhance Haiwen's comprehensive strength in banking and finance, acquisition finance, projects and project finance and other areas of practice, and expand the breadth and depth of Haiwen's professional services.  We look forward to continuing to provide integrated, one-stop and high-quality legal services to our clients.
