On December 13, 2019 (US Eastern Time), the trading of the American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) of OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd. (“OneConnect”) commenced on the New York Stock Exchange (stock code: OCFT). OneConnect offered 31,200,000 ADSs (before the exercising of the over-allotment option) at the initial public offering price of US$10 per ADS and raised approximately US$310 million in gross proceeds (“Offering”).
OneConnect is a leading technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions in China, and which provides cloud-native financial technology solutions that integrate extensive financial services industry expertise with market-leading technology. OneConnect’s solutions provide technology applications and technology-enabled business services to financial institutions, and cover multiple verticals in the financial services industry, including banking, insurance and asset management.
