Mr. Zhu is a Partner with Haiwen & Partners, Beijing Office. Mr. Zhu's practice focuses on PE/VC fund formation and investment, merger and acquisition, healthcare and real estate. 

Mr. Zhu joined Haiwen in 2016. Prior to joining Haiwen, Mr. Zhu worked in another leading law firm for 5 years.

Hillhouse Capital on the merger of its pet medical assets with Ruipeng Group;

Advent Fund on the acquisition of two high-end mattress manufacturers;

CMC on its investments in an E-commerce company and a long-term rental apartment management company; 

Sequoia and Tencent on their investments in Bee Quick;

SAFE Partners on its investment in a laser radar project;

China State-owned Venture Capital on its investment in a large state-owned company;

a wearable device manufacturer on its financing from GSR Capital, Tencent and JD;

a hardware manufacturer on its financing from IDG Capital.

Mr. Zhu's recent experience in the area of fund formation includes advising:

Taikang Insurance on its investments in two large RMB funds focusing on logistics projects;

China Structural Reform Fund on its investment in an RMB fund;

China Post Capital on its investment in an RMB logistics fund;

Shenzhen Capital Real Estate on the formation of several real estate funds;

Mr. Zhu received his LL.M. degree from China-EU School of Law at China University of Political Science and Law in 2011 and his LL.B. degree from Shandong University.
