Hao Su has nearly 15 years of experience in legal services in Hong Kong, London and Beijing. Prior to joining Haiwen, Hao was a Beijing-based partner of a major international law firm.

As a cross-border transaction expert, Hao Su specialises in complex cross-border M&A, the development and financing of projects, and joint ventures. The sectors involve advanced manufacturing, energy and natural resources, technology, pharmaceutical, logistics, consumer goods, media, financial services, and real estate. The regions include Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and Latin America. In the energy sector, Hao advises on the entire energy value chain from upstream concessions, midstream transportation to downstream commodity sales and trading. Hao also has significant experience in private equity investment, China in-bound investment and other Chinese legal matters.

Hao is a qualified solicitor of Hong Kong SAR and England & Wales. He also passed the PRC bar exam.

Hao Su received his LLB and LLM degrees from Peking University. He also received Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from BPP University and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from the University of Hong Kong.

Hao is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
